The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.


Pattern #3439: Playsuit and Skirt or Bra Top and Shorts: Circa 1941-1942

Size: 34" bust, 37" hips.

This pattern was published by The Advance Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Playsuit and Skirt or Bra Top and Shorts. Round neck and cap sleeves edged with frills. Patch pockets on skirt. Suggested use of buttons on blouse." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1941-1942.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton pique and rayon crepe. The colors were white print on sun red or blue, deep Copenhagen and white with red trim.

Materials required: 4-3/8 Yds. 36" fabric.
