Pattern #3924: Misses' Dress with Gathered Waist: Circa 1940-1944

Size: 32" bust, 27" waist, 35" hips.

This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Misses' Dress with Gathered Waist. High neckline and two-inside front pockets at waistline. Darted sleeves in long or 3/4 length. Optional bows and tie belt." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1940-1944.

Suggested fabrics: Crepes, lame, velvet, sheer wool, cloque, challis, heavy sheer crepes, silk, cotton, wool, and rayon. The colors were royal blue, black, gold, brown, cranberry red, slate blue and evergreen.

Materials required: Dress: 3-1/2 Yds. 36" fabric.
