Pattern #5143: Junior Miss and Misses' Culotte and Unlined Jacket: Circa 1942 Size: 30" bust, 24" waist, 33" hips. This pattern was published by The du-Barry Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Junior Miss and Misses' Culotte and Unlined Jacket. Jacket closes in front below the notched collar. Bishop or short sleeves may be used. Patch pocket trims left blouse front. Culotte is seamed center front and back and has a side closing. Style 1 has contrast at neck and bishop sleeves. Style 2 has short sleeves. Culottes are made of contrasting fabric." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1942. Suggested fabrics: Denim, percale, cotton pique, cotton batiste, and rayon crepe. The colors were surf blue, yellow, red berry print, Copenhagen blue, white ground with floral print. Materials required: 2-7/8 Yds. 36" fabric.
