The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic. |

Pattern #7417: Ladies' One-Piece Dress: Circa 1916-1917 Size: 38" bust. This pattern was published by The Pictorial Review Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' One-Piece Dress with applied box-plaits; closing on the left shoulder and to the left of center-front under the box-plait. The center front plait may be omitted. Open neck with large collar; adjustable shield and flare collar, cut in one. Straight belt which may be slipped under the plaits, or worn over them. Long one-piece sleeves fitted snuggly at the wrists with extra length giving a shirred effect, or one-pieced gathered sleeves with fancy cuffs." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1916-1917. Suggested fabrics: Silk, fine cloth, georgette crepe, eyelet embroidery, serge, gabardine, poplin, broadcloth, light weight woolens, velveteen, satin charmeuse, faille, and taffeta. The colors were navy blue, Russian green, black, light blue, pink, white, and taupe gray. Materials required: 7-1/4 Yds. 36" wide.
