Isabelle Lott, MA
Isabelle has spent the last 28 years developing, revising and using PWstudio for all my professional patterns and designs. As a former university design instructor and custom clothier she needed a fast and efficient, flat pattern based program, that would fulfill a wide variety of functions, from digitizing to pattern layout and printing. PWstudio 4 does this and more!
In 1985, as the founder of Patternworks International she drafted patterns by hand, for small companies and custom designers. In 1990, Isabelle created her first soft wear, PCpattern. PCpattern was created out of necessity, to save time and perfect patterns in the computer. Working with the software, while serving clients, allowed Isabelle to improve the software and in 2000, PCpattern was renamed it PWStudio. With the help of my new programmer, Chuck Smith, Isabelle began using a new platform and was able to create a more affordable product. PWstudio V4 is now better than ever, and is used by designers all over the US, Canada and the world.
Isabelle has also given workshops in my studio and across the country, to introduce the software to designers and students who want to enhance their apparel productivity.
Recently, Isabelle sold her business, Pattern Works, and she is now free to focus on software development, promotion and instruction.
