The Vintage Revivals patterns are only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. The patterns are printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.

Size: 36" bust, 30" waist, 39" hips.

This pattern was published by The du-Barry Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Misses' and Women's dress. Smartness is achieved by the simplicity and good tailoring details of this dress. The front may be closed with a slide fastener or buttons. Novel patch pockets have button down flaps and continue from a dart at the shoulder. 8-piece skirt. Long or short sleeves. A purchased scarf may be used." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dated 1939.

Suggested fabrics: Novelty silks, flat crepe, printed silk, rayon crepe, twill, sheer wool, printed cottons, gingham, chambray, shantung, and printed surah. The colors were hockey green, skipper blue, scarlet red, henna rust, rancho rose, lime green, and gold.

Materials required: 3-1/4 Yds. 36" fabric. 2-7/8 Yds. 45" fabric.
